The La Mojonera sanctuary is very easy to find. We are located just 15 minutes east of Almeria and 1km. from the E-15 (N-340) motorway (Autovía del Mediterraneo). We are a 3 hour car trip along the Costa Tropical from Malaga Airport in the west and a couple of hours from the Costa Blanca (north east). The sanctuary is ideally situated for a days outing to adopt your new dog. We are open most mornings from 10.00hrs. - 12.00hrs. or by appointment at most other times. Please telephone or e-mail ahead (see below) to ensure a volunteer is available to meet you.
